A Space Shuttle was Launched on May 16, 2009

Discovery which is a space shuttle launched at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida on May 16, 2009. Kouichi Wakata who is a Japanese astronaut is getting into Discovery. Seven people is getting into Discovery. Kouichi Wakata is going to stay at the International Space Station about four months. It is first time as Japanese.
His space flight was third time. He is staying in the International Space Station for a longer time than other Japanese.


The International Space Station is 400 kilometers away from ground. The International Space Station was made from fifty countries' corporation such as America, Japan and Europe. The International Space Station's size is as same as soccer stadium.





He is going to examine a function, do a test, put together outside experience plat form at laboratory in-flight. For example, he is going to examine that if people is in space long time, what king of influence for people.
In addition, the International Space Station is not completion yet, so he is going to fit up the International Space Station with a solar battery panel to operate arm of a robot. He is very good to operate arm of a robot. A solar panel will make electricity to move the International Space Station, so it seems to increase the number of people who lives in the International Space Station .

He is not come back to the earth yet because NSA postponed the launching of Endeavour which takes back to Kouichi Wakata. He will come back soon.

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea launched a missile.

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea launched three short-range ballistic missiles toward the Sea of Japan on May 25 2009. It was performed on October 9, 2009. A nuclear test was second time. In addition, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea launched two short-range ballistic missiles again on May 26 2009.

This purpose seems to be escalated to threaten America and Korea. The Democratic People's Republic of Korea where was in financial difficulties and have a uneasiness about health of Kim Jong Il who is the supreme commander demanded to have a conversation with Obama who is the President of America.

Obama Became the President in U.S.A

Barack Hussein Obama, Jr assumed the President of U.S.A on January 21st, 2009 Japan time. He was the first President of blacks. This times is very hard for him, because of a depression. However, he may change to business conditions. I believe it. And, I want Asou to change to Japan. I want to believe it.

I actually went to Forever 21 on July 10 2009. Forever 21 still be crowded. However, Forever 21 is really cheap and cute! There were many clothes and accessories. Iwant to go again!
Forever 21 is going to open in Shibuya, Ginza, and Sinjuku before too long.

This news shocked whole the world. This news will become the biggest of news in 2009. Michael Jackson died at the age of 50 on June 25. he was called King of Pop which means is the true king of pop, rock and soul. He has a legend that the sales of CDs is the top of world.

World Baseball Classic that is the final game between Japan and Korea was hold at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on March 24th, 2009 Japan time, and Japan won the game 5-4. Japan gain two successive victories.

Hara Tatsunori who is a baseball manager of Janap in WBC said, "I want to be pride to become a manager of Japan. I thought we could come back with sticking out our chest. Each player brought home to everyone power of Japan with having preparedness."

Matsuzaka Daisuke gain MVP for two years running. Matsuzaka won three games consequently which is the most victory of WBC. But, Matsuzaka said, "I though that Iwakuma will have received MVP."

Ichiro felt pain at WBC. He could not get a hit easily, and fail bunt. However, he got a hit of winning the majority of games in a series in extra innings of the finals. Sure enough, Ichiro was great person.

Surely, I believe that Japan will win the next World Baseball Classic once more!

This year, the news style influenza was born. The news style influenza was named "Swine Flu".
First, this disease is epidemic which means is when a large number of people get the same disease over the same period of time. However, WHO which is World Health Organization pulled up level of caution. Swine flu became pandemic which means is occurring throughout a region or even throughout the world. Pandemic is stronger than epidemic.

There is 1336 people infected in Japan, and there are 77201 people infected around the world. In addition, 332 people died by swine flu as of 16:00 p.m. on July.2, 2009. There are many infected person except Aomori, Yamagata,Fukui prefecture in Japan.

The symptom of swine flu is fever over 38 degrees, cough, chills, headache and nasal mucus etc.... It take one to seven days to show symptoms of swine flu since someone infected. If you fit these symptoms, you must call "fever consultation center", and then you do not go to hospital because it is possible to give someone your virus.
